Life Drawing doesn’t always involve nudity – sometimes a character or costume can create the perfect spectacle to inspire artists of all ages!
September 7th saw Bambi la Belle and Lola Moore don their burlesque finery for a very special set of workshops at Shenton College. In two sessions, teens and adults got to draw Lola & Bambi in special life drawing workshops with guest artist Andy Quilty.
Both performers have experience posing for visual artists, and their training and experience in dance ensured for some unique and beautiful poses. Burlesque-style life drawing is increasing in popularity, particularly for schools looking to give students the opportunity to draw live figures without nudity.
