Lady Velvet Cabaret is excited to introduce our Solo Development – Six-Week Short Course with Calamity Gin, designed to give you the guidance, tools and dedicated creative space to develop an act that feels uniquely you.

Whether you’re creating your very first solo, have an idea you’re not quite sure how to bring to life, or want expert guidance refining an existing concept, Calamity Gin will work with you across six weeks to get your act stage-ready.

✨ WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
Throughout the course, you’ll explore:

Technique and tease

Audience interaction

Choreography and movement

Costuming and reveals

Song selection and musicality

Character and stage presence

Tech requirements and act preparation

🎭 BY THE END OF THE SIX WEEKS…
You’ll walk away with:

Your own stage-ready solo act (two minutes or less)

A completed tech sheet ready to submit to shows

Experience and confidence developing and refining your own work

The opportunity to perform your solo live at Lady Velvet Cabaret’s end-of-term showcase on 10 October at Milk Bar
