Performing at the grad show was an absolute highlight of 2020, and probably my adult life. I’m so proud of myself for seeing it through and getting up there with little dance experience prior. I began with LVC last term just wanting to have something to work towards for myself and to simply have a bloody fun time, yet I managed to gain friendships and a complete new confidence as well. In my 25 years I’ve never been more comfortable in my own skin than now and my self love has improved all thanks to burlesque. I now sport a bikini to the beach without a single care (except for getting my pale skin sunburnt). I want to thank you and Lauren for creating such a comfortable and encouraging environment. I’m so grateful.
